How do these convertible beds work on a daily basis?
These models switch from one function to another thanks to a mechanism designed for repeated use. Depending on the version chosen, a coffee table can be raised and unfolded to become a bed, or a module can be transformed into a seat and then a bed. The action remains simple and is done by hand, without tools, in a few seconds once you've gotten the hang of it.

Are these convertible beds suitable for everyday sleeping?
It all depends on the intended use. For occasional sleeping, hosting relatives for a few nights, they serve their purpose well. For sleeping every night, it's better to choose a model designed for this use, with a mattress of at least 17 cm and good density foam. The advisor can tell you which ones in the selection can withstand daily use.
How much space do these convertible beds really save?
The space saving is mainly measured on the floor. During the day, a folded convertible bed occupies the footprint of a table or a low piece of furniture, often around 40 to 50 cm deep, compared to nearly two meters for an unfolded bed. You therefore gain the equivalent of an entire sleeping surface during the day, which makes a big difference in a room under 15 m2.
What type of mattress do these convertible beds come with?
