Are these combination beds really suitable for daily use by an adult?
Yes, these models are designed for everyday adult use. The structures are reinforced, typically made of thick metal or solid wood, to easily support an adult's weight over time. Just remember to check the maximum load indicated on each product sheet, which is usually around 100 to 150 kg depending on the model.
What sleeping dimensions are available in this selection of adult combination beds?
Most of these beds offer a sleeping area of 140x190 cm, a standard size for two people, and some go up to 160x200 cm. You can also find 90x190 cm versions for one person when floor space is limited. The exact dimensions are listed on each product sheet, the idea being to maintain genuine adult comfort despite the height.
Are these combination beds stable enough not to move during the night?
Stability is a key point at these heights, and these models are designed accordingly with thick uprights and reinforced screws. Once assembled and, for the taller ones, fixed to the wall when recommended, they show no play or wobbling. The safety barriers on the upper sleeping area also prevent falls during sleep.
What type of mattress should be provided for these adult combination beds?
For daily adult use, it's best to have a mattress at least 17 cm thick with good foam density to maintain proper support night after night. Be careful to respect the maximum height recommended by the manufacturer, especially on models with a barrier, so that it remains effective. A mattress adapted for a wall bed is preferable. How much floor space is needed to install these combination beds?
The advantage of these beds is precisely their small footprint compared to the sleeping and storage volume they offer. Most importantly, remember to check your room's ceiling height: high loft beds often require a minimum of 2.40 m to remain comfortable when sitting on the bed.
