Pour quel couchage ces lits escamotables 2 places sont-ils prévus ?
Nos modèles deux places accueillent un matelas en 140x190 cm pour la plupart, certaines références montant à 160x200 cm pour un couchage queen size. C'est un format pensé pour deux adultes au quotidien, contrairement aux versions une place réservées à une chambre d'appoint. La fiche de chaque modèle précise la dimension exacte de couchage.
Le matelas reste-t-il en place quand on replie ces lits deux places ?
Oui, c'est tout l'intérêt du mécanisme. Les sangles de maintien gardent le matelas, les draps et même la couette en position pendant le repliage, donc rien à refaire chaque matin. Vous relevez le couchage en une manoeuvre et le lit disparaît dans le caisson. C'est un vrai gain de temps face à un convertible classique qu'il faut déplier.
Faut-il choisir un modèle vertical ou horizontal en deux places ?
La version verticale se replie vers le haut et demande de la hauteur sous plafond, elle convient bien quand le mur est court. La version horizontale bascule sur le côté et reste plus basse une fois ouverte, pratique sous une pente de toit ou une mezzanine. Pour un format deux places, l'horizontal occupe davantage de largeur au sol, ce qui oriente souvent le choix selon la pièce. Quelle épaisseur de matelas peut-on mettre sur ces lits escamotables ?
La plupart de nos lits deux places acceptent un matelas jusqu'à 18 à 25 cm d'épaisseur, ce qui laisse de la marge pour un vrai confort de couchage quotidien. Au-delà, le repliage devient plus difficile et le matelas risque de forcer dans le caisson. Visez une densité de mousse correcte si vous dormez dessus toutes les nuits, l'épaisseur seule ne fait pas le confort.
Combien de place au sol ces lits permettent-ils de récupérer ?
Une fois replié, un lit escamotable deux places ne dépasse guère 35 à 40 cm de profondeur contre le mur, là où un lit ouvert en occupe près de deux mètres. Vous libérez ainsi toute la surface centrale de la pièce en journée. C'est la solution privilégiée pour un studio, une chambre d'amis qui sert de bureau, ou une pièce à double usage.
Ces lits deux places existent-ils combinés avec un canapé ou un bureau ?
