The fabric offers a warm feel and a comfortable seat in all seasons, unlike materials that are colder to the touch. On our banquettes, it covers both the backrest and the seat, as well as any bedding, for a soft and welcoming look in a living room or a spare bedroom. It's a material that blends easily with existing decor.

Regular vacuuming with a brush attachment is sufficient for routine maintenance. In case of a stain, act quickly with a slightly damp cloth and a mild textile cleaner, without soaking the fabric. Some of our models come with a removable cover that can be machine washed, which greatly simplifies cleaning over time.

It all depends on the model. For frequent sleeping, it's better to choose a banquette designed for this purpose, with a mattress of at least 13 cm and good density foam that lasts over time. For occasional guests, a thinner seat is perfectly adequate. The fabric covering makes no difference to sleeping comfort, which mainly depends on the mattress.

The selection covers a wide range, from easy-to-live-with greys and anthracites to warmer shades like beige or mustard, and blues. Some of the colours are visible directly on the website, but the full range of fabrics and shades can be discovered in store or by phone, where you can see and touch samples before making your choice.

The chosen fabrics are selected for their durability in use, with good resistance to abrasion and repeated friction from sitting. For daily use, it's mainly the density of the foam under the fabric that makes the difference over time. Regular maintenance and absence of direct sun exposure further extend the freshness of the colours.

Most of our banquettes open in a few steps to transform from seating to sleeping, either by unfolding the seat forward or by a roll-out system depending on the model. The whole mechanism operates effortlessly and without dismantling anything. The fabric covering remains taut and in place with each opening.

Mainly, we find sleeping widths around 120 to 140 cm, suitable for one person comfortably or two for occasional use. Lengths are generally around 190 cm. Exact dimensions vary from model to model; the idea is to check the available space once the banquette is open before making your choice.
