THE BZ

A sofa by day and a bed by night, the BZ gets its name from its shape. When folded, it resembles a lowercase B in profile and a Z when transformed into a bed. In fact, it opens like an accordion. The BZ is usually a 2-seater sofa.

The fully removable cover of the fireside chair is covered in easy-care fabric or microfiber. It can accommodate a polyurethane foam mattress, generally measuring 140 x 190 cm. Polyether foam is reserved for occasional sleeping. The mattress should be approximately 15 cm thick and have a density between 30 and 40 kg/m3 for daily sleeping. It can be high-resilience and equipped with a real box spring, a slatted metal frame.

The BZ, a real bed for your studio

To sleep on it every day, your sofa bed must offer perfect comfort. The BZ sofa bed offers comfort comparable to traditional bedding. It consists of a wooden slatted base and a mattress. The sofa bed's components are robust and durable, provided you choose a quality model.

THE CLICK-CLACK

The sofa bed is a fairly wide, 3-seater sofa without armrests. Its name comes from the opening system, which clicks when it engages and claps when it unfolds into a bed. It can be equipped with a storage compartment under the mattress, to store a duvet, blankets, and pillows. Most sofa beds have removable covers, except for sewn covers such as imitation leather or leather.

For a standard mattress, the dimensions are 140 x 190 cm, but if the sofa bed is intended for extra sleeping space, it can be smaller. As with the BZ, the mattress is often made of polyurethane. The bed base consists of a two-part mechanism, naturally given its structure. With 20 slats, the bed base ensures optimal mattress support.
