Is the Baker sofa bed suitable for everyday use?
Yes, the Baker is rated for daily sleeping, meaning it's designed for use every night. Its 13 cm mattress rests on the included bed base, and the mechanism is CATAS certified, the Italian reference standard for the resistance and durability of mechanisms. To choose the configuration that suits you best, a trial in-store remains the most relevant.
Can the fabric and size of the Baker be customized?
The Baker offers one of the widest choices in the range with over 500 fabrics and leathers available. In terms of dimensions, it comes in five sleeping widths: 70, 100, 120, 140 and 160 cm, covering everything from an occasional single bed to a true double bed. Is the Baker too large for a Parisian apartment?
In its 3-seater version, the Baker measures W205 x D103 x H89 cm when closed, and also comes in a 2.5-seater version at W185 cm for smaller spaces. When open, the depth reaches 215 cm: so, this clearance space behind the sofa must be planned for. The model is also available as a corner sofa and in a set with an ottoman, to adapt to different living room configurations. It is delivered in a single package of approximately W202 x D110 x H85 cm for the 3-seater version.
